Wall Street Prep

Wall Street Prep registration will open on October 6th, 2025 at 9:00AM MT and close on December 8th, 2025 at 5:00PM MT.
Deposits due December 8
th, 2025, through Summit. Cancellations after December 8th, 2025 will not receive a refund. 

Dates & Time: 2 days - Thursday, January 15 - Friday, January 16, 2026. 9am-5pm MT each day.

Class limit: 30 students
Description: Accounting & Financial Statement Modeling Liberal Arts Seminar: 2-day intensive training program where liberal arts students learn financial accounting, financial modeling in Excel, and technical interview prep using a hands-on, case-study approach. This course would cost over $1899 if taken on your own. It is offered for a $100 deposit through Dynamic Half Block. Upon completion of the entire course, you will be reimbursed $95. 

Curriculum/Wall Street Prep Advantage: 

  • Required Pre-Work: Excel and Accounting online crash courses  
  • Day 1: Accounting & Financial Statement Analysis; Financial Statement Modeling in Excel 
  • Day 2: Introduction to Valuation; and Technical Interview Prep

Internship and Job Search Strategies for the Liberal Arts Student 
January 5th-15th, 2026 9am-12pm MT

This course is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of planning and organizing your job/internship search strategies. We will begin with understanding individual talents, reflecting on your own motivated skills, values and interests. Organizations hire because they have talent needs, you will identify an industry of interest, research, and critically analyze the alignment between your individual talent and the organizational needs of the industry. 

This class will empower you to explore careers with confidence. Understanding your talent profile will help you identify opportunities that you align with and prepare for them by developing compelling personal marketing materials. You will also gain deeper insights into additional factors that influence career/job choice like individual budgeting, location, living standards, and salaries.

Kaplan Test Prep

Kaplan Test Prep Changed to Kaplan ALL-Access in 2025

Exciting news! 今日吃 has now partnered with Kaplan to offer All-Access to current students. This means that Kaplan Test Prep will no longer be offered during Half Block. Instead, students will be able to register themselves for all Kaplan Test Prep through and select their own schedules. This is free for all students!  Learn more about 今日吃's Kaplan All-Access

Directions: Students will need to create an account with Kaplan using your student CC email address. Follow to access CC’s page and create your account.  

Guidelines for registration:  

  • Please note that all class times are listed in Eastern Standard Time (EST). Pay close attention to the times to ensure it works for your schedule.  
  • You may only enroll in one class at a time.  

All students pursuing professional health school and law school should be working with the pre-health and pre-law advisors when considering preparation. Students requesting entrance exam prep have access to Kaplan prep products for 12 months. Therefore, students must ensure they are ready to test and apply to their respective programs within those 12 months.

Specific Course Guidelines: 

DAT: students must be enrolled in or have completed Organic Chemistry II with BIO I/II and CHEM I/II. 

GMAT: Recommended only for senior business students pursuing competitive b-school admissions. Determine if you need this exam based on schools you are applying to. 

GRE: Recommended between junior and senior year only when applying to graduate programs that require the exam. (All PA and Veterinary programs require the GRE; most OT and PT programs require the GRE.) 

LSAT: Junior or senior pre-law students only; recommended that all pre-law applicants completed before September of their application year. 

MCAT: Recommended when students have completed BIO I/II, CHEM I/II, OCHEM I/II, PHYS I/II. Students should try to complete the MCAT by June of the year that they are applying.  

OAT: Recommended when students have completed BIO I/II, CHEM I/II, OCHEM I/II, PHYS I/II, and through Calc I.
